*DO NOT GLUE YOUR DENTURE BEFORE SEEKING REPAIR OPTIONS, CALL FIRST *
In some cases, once a denture has been glued back incorrectly, it can no longer be correctly repaired back to its original state and can mean that a new denture/s are now required. However, that is not the case every time, give us a call so that we can help you figure out what to expect with your repair.
The reason it's not a good idea to glue the denture if it breaks is because if the denture is off by even micromillimeters when it's glued, it can cause it to sit incorrectly in the mouth and throw the bite off. Once a denture sits incorrectly in the mouth, it can not only agitate the tissue, but if the bite is affected, it can cause your teeth to not chew and occlude the way that they were designed to. With an unbalanced bite/occlusion, the denture can be prone to break again due to heavy contact on certain parts of the denture, as well as cause issues when tying to chew food.
